Saint Ursula Academy is proud of senior Beatrice "Beazey" Tierney '24, who is one of 18 area students selected to win the Anthony Muñoz Foundation’s Straight ‘A’ Scholarship. Of the 490 nominations received from over 150 Tri-State area high schools, Beazey, was chosen as a recipient of the 2024 Scholarship.
As one of 18 recipients, Beazey receives a one-time $2,000 college scholarship. One male and one female Straight ‘A’ Student will be chosen as the Overall Male and Female Straight ‘A’ Student of the Year and will receive an additional $3,000 scholarship (for a total of $5,000) to further their education. All 18 recipients will receive their scholarship and be honored at our Straight ‘A’ Luncheon at The Lempicka by Jeff Ruby on Tuesday, April 30th.
"We are so proud of Beazey," said Sant Ursula Academy President Lelia Keefe Kramer. "She shares her light with everyone she meets and is already living the school's mission to a positive impact in the world. She is truly an outstanding person and is very much deserving of this scholarship and honor."
